Our most abundant variety, Hartleys are a large walnut that cracks out to about 30% halves, with the remainder as large pieces. The halves are distinctly elongate and angular, and they have an excellent nutty flavor, with a very high oil content. Our shelling equipment becomes covered in walnut butter with a day’s run of the line!
